Clyde was transferred into the care of Wags & Walks in Los Angeles from the Imperial Valley Shelter, where he was found as a stray. His history is entirely unknown, but it was clear that he needed a little TLC, as his coat was extremely matted and his teeth were worn down.
Vet Visit
The medical team discovered that Clyde has a grade 4 heart murmur, and is also in desperate need of a dental procedure to address his extremely worn teeth.
He will require an initial visit to the cardiologist, in addition to ongoing visits 1-2x a year to monitor his condition. Clyde will also need lifelong heart medication so that he can live a healthy, and happy life. If untreated, his heart murmur will lead to congestive heart failure.
