Doug’s Buds is a campaign launched in partnership with Los Angeles County Animal Care and Control to honor Doug, a senior german shepherd who was adopted from this shelter system by Matt Nelson, one of our founders. The 15/10 Foundation and its members sponsored the adoption fees of all german shepherd’s over 1 year old in the 7 county shelters for the month of February. Below you’ll find Doug’s Buds from all over the country that were nominated and are still in need of a forever home (last updated April 11th, 2024). We are currently only considering new Doug’s Buds from our rescue partners across the U.S., but hope to revitalize the full campaign again soon.
