An animal control facility in a nearby county alerted FurKids that they seized 71 small breed dogs, mainly chihuahuas, from one home. Furkids was able to accept 13 dogs into their program, including one very pregnant dog. The remaining dogs landed safely amongst other rescues in the area.

All 13 chihuahuas immediately received veterinary care, ranging from vaccines, spay/neuter procedures, dewormer, and preventatives. Soon to be momma, Sudo Woodoo will receive additional care including an ultrasound. Luckily, they all seemed to be in high spirits and adjusting to their new surroundings. Not to mention, some have already found their forever homes.
