This is Little Miss Daisy. She was born with a congenital defect called hydrocephalus, a neurological condition where there is too much fluid in the brain. Early detection is crucial and if untreated, this disorder can cause issues like seizures, difficulty walking, and blindness. In Daisy’s case – she stopped eating and was losing weight (which is very bad because she is already very tiny). Thankfully, her symptoms are being managed with medication along with routine check ups with the neurologist.
