This is Opal. She developed a painful (and embarrassing) rectal prolapse, requiring multiple surgeries to address the condition. Despite initial interventions, her prolapse recurred, and she now requires a specialized procedure called a colopexy to prevent future complications. Despite all the discomfort, Opal remains a happy, bouncy six-month-old puppy.
