This is Angelica. She was found as a stray living under a house, doing her best to care for her six puppies. Upon closer inspection, it was clear that Angelica was suffering from a very unusual condition in which a large tuft of hair was growing from her lower eyelid. She needed specialized surgery to have the hair safely removed and to prevent any further discomfort or complications with her vision. Her rescue shared that she is such a brave and friendly girl, which is often a rarity for street dogs.
