Oscar was transfered from a shelter in Brazoria County, Texas to our rescue partner One Tail at a Time in Chicago. While being neutered recently, Oscar was diagnosed with a severe inguinal hernia, which requires additional surgery to fix.
The journey to get to One Tail at a Time from Texas was a long-awaited one for little Oscar, but when he arrived he was scheduled for the surgical repair as soon as the vet could see him. Thanks to our members, we were able to sponsor his surgery and recovery. He had the procedure done on December 13, 2022 and is resting in a foster home.
“We can’t imagine how much more comfortable he must be and we’re looking forward to seeing him recover!”
