Shelter
Little Miss was found as a stray in Philadelphia. She had sustained obvious injuries to her back legs and was in desperate need of help. One of ACCT Philly’s volunteers step up and offer to foster her just as her euthanasia date was set.

Vet Visit
Little miss is only eight months old but has fractures in both her rear femurs. X-rays revealed these injuries were sustained a while ago, so she has been living with this condition and in pain for quite some time.
The vet advised to limit her activity and give her pain meds to see if they enables the legs to heal on their own, since she is so young. However, she will be meeting with a specialist to do a more thorough exam and plan for her health and the leg repairs as she continues to grow.
Foster
Little Miss has a very dedicated foster who is delighted to be looking after her and helping her through this rough time. “She is the sweetest, most playful pup! She loves to socialize and give out affection and love — she is also super dog-friendly and has been enjoying being in my home with my two pups (one is a 15yr senior and Little Miss is very respectful of her).”
