The Gilligan’s Island Litter is a group of notably shy 4-month old pups; Gilligan, Thurston, and Skipper Lovey, Mary Ann and Ginger. This bunch of Terrier/schnauzer mixes were sailing along their merry way to new homes when trouble hit. Skipper, the fearless leader broke out with Parvo symptoms.

Luckily, our fantastic partners at Wags and Walks in LA are working tirelessly to get these pups the around-the-clock care they need by partnering with veterinary staff. Allow us to introduce you to these wonderful puppies.

This is Thurston. He’s a shy little guy, but still loves a good cuddle.

Now this one is Gilligan. The Charismatic one.

This is Lovey. She has eyelashes for days.

This is Ginger. She’s got her PhD in puppy eyes.

This is Mary Ann. She luckily didn’t get parvovirus, but we thought everyone should meet her.

Vet Visit

When they arrived at Wags and Walks, each pup had already begun showing symptoms of parvo making the situation for them extremely pressing. Following protocol from veterinary staff, the puppies were immediately given fluid therapy to fight the dehydration often associated with parvo. Sadly, conditions escalated for the group, leading to hospitalization and isolation.

Parvo can rock even the strongest of pups, attacking their young bodies relentlessly. Without support and immediate action from all parties involved, the Gilligan’s Island Litter may stay marooned in this unfortunate situation – due to no fault of their own.
