Elf

Elf

Elf was officially adopted on 12/8/21. He’s healing very well and will get his second round of vaccines before the end of the year! Our commitment to him doesn’t end here. We will continue to cover any and all medical bills related to his broken leg, the original reason she was unlikely to make it out of the shelter. You can scroll through this page to see his entire journey.

Shelter

We were notified of Elf late Wednesday night. The text from our shelter contact that accompanied his pics was “I have a VERY special little man.” We are picking him up this morning (12/3) and he’ll hopefully be able to have surgery before noon! As always we’ll keep everyone pupdated. Please enjoy this video of him desperately wanting, and then receiving, belly rubs.

Freedom Ride (12/3)

Vet (12/3)

Elf had surgery to repair the Tibis Diaphyseal Fracture in his hind leg. He was also neutered, microchipped and received his first round of vaccines! Elf’s long term care will include follow up appointments, cast changes, and suture removal.

Foster

Elf has the perfect foster home to heal and start his new life full of love. There is absolutely no reason to worry about him because he is being protected by his foster sister, Jada.

Pupdate: 1/14/22

Saw surgeon and they removed Elf’s cast. All is healing well. Elf will have to visit again in a few weeks to pull the pins out.
