Shelter
Dolly, a sweet senior lady, was seen being dumped at her local park. She ultimately ended up in a shelter before being rescued by Wags and Walks in Los Angeles. Although she only weighed 11.5 pounds, she had a 3-pound mass hanging off her stomach. It caused significant pain for Dolly, but she remained sweet and grateful for her rescue.

Vet Visit
Without knowing whether the mass was malignant or benign, vets decided it needed to be removed as quickly as possible. Just one day after being rescued by Wags and Walks, Dolly underwent surgery to have the mass removed. Not only is she free of all that extra tumor weight, but her teeth are shiny and healthy too. While she was there, she had a few teeth extracted due to some dental concerns.

After surgery, the mass was sent off for biopsy to ensure it wasn’t cancerous and at risk of returning. The results came back, and miraculously, the tumor was benign! Now she’s ready to find a forever home that will love her like she deserves.
